The party
for the street kids was an marvellous experience. We invited 200
kids and 160 turned up. Praise God. The Lord also brought people
from other churches to come and help. We started the event at 10
with some kids evangelism, then we separated the kids into
classrooms and showed them the word of God about the gift of Jesus
and the reason why we celebrate at Christmas time. Afterwards students from our School of Mission presented a traditional dance from here in Brazil, called the Capoeira, and took the chance to talk about the Lord as well. After that we served lots of food and gave everyone their gifts. It was an awesome experience! Silvana |
