To the Ends
of the Earth

Jesus tells us in Acts 1:8:

"you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria,
and to the ends of the earth."

In Acts chapter 2, we read about the first day of Pentecost:

When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

Now there were staying in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven. When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard them speaking in his own language.

Acts 2:1-6 (New International Version)

a scene from the "Jesus" film

The "Jesus" Film Project, a ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ firmly believe that people should have the opportunity to hear the gospel in a language they easily understand. The "Jesus" film is currently available in 520 languages. Work is progress in producing versions of the film in a further 215 languages.

The "Jesus" film is used by over 821 Christian agencies to help spread the gospel. The "Jesus" film has been seen in 230 countries by over 2 billion people. 87 million people have indicated decisions for Jesus as a result of seing the film (or video). The film tells the story of Jesus based on Luke's gospel.

In Mark's Gospel, Jesus speaks of the events that will lead to his glorious return.

"And the gospel must first be preached to all nations."
Mark 13:10

Before Jesus returns the gospel must be preached to all peoples. The "Jesus" film is a powerful tool in achieving this.

From Sub-Saharan Africa to the jungles of India, The DCI Trust is helping thousands of people to see the "Jesus" film. Many decisions have been made for Christ. New churches have been planted.

What can I do to help?

Pray! Matthew 9:38 urges believers to pray for workers for His harvest. The Great Comission (Matthew 28:19-20) tells us to make disciples. Workers are needed to nurture new believers, to help with church planting, and to train leaders.

Consider going on a short-term mission trip to see for yourself.

Provide funding as an individual or a church for petrol generators and transport so that teams can take the "Jesus" film literally to the "ends of the earth!"
