India is home to millions of the world's poorest people of all ages. Our friend in Kerala is Pastor Daniel Varghese who has an incomparable and unstoppable vision to reach the poor with the love of God. We worked together to make Christmas very special for some very young and orphaned children, and also for some very elderly and abandoned men and women for whom there are no state benefits or care of any kind.

Daniel writes, "We had the Christmas dinner for the children from the slums and Kids club. We had 286 Kids and 48 grown up people. We arranged a full day for the kids with Christmas songs, games and stories.

About 220 asked to pray for Jesus to be their Lord and Saviour.

We arranged a good Christmas dinner for these children. I believe this was the only full meal for many of the kids that week. Thank you for helping us to give hope and the love of Jesus to these children.

Later we were able to give Christmas meals to 38 abandoned old people in a home for destitutes. Most of them are bedridden and we don't know whether they will be still alive for next Christmas.

I am so glad we could feed them with the love of Jesus.”
