Lawnsome Etum-Akezi

Etum-Akezi Lawnsome has been in full time Ministry since 1981.
Part of his early career was spent jointly as a Primary School teacher,whilst he was pioneering Churches. He is married to Agnes with four children ( 3 boys and 1 girl) and four orphans to his late brother who are dependants.
Lawnsome is a minister with Faith Mission of Uganda holding the position of National Youth Director and the Team Leader Missions.
Scope of Ministry
1. From 1981/85 served as Sunday School Teacher where he developed four branch Churches. In one Church he pioneered with 8 people, six years later over 100 people had come into the Church and the Church had started building construction.
2. From 1986/89 served in a Senior Ministry position in a normal Pastoral responsibilities. In 1990 was asked to be town Pastor- Lira, where he led for 4 years after which he received a call into Evangelist/Missionary Ministry.
3. Been for two years in the Ministry Training at Wellspring Leadership Training Centre- Kampala 1996/97 being recommended by DCI Trust through King`s Centre Sponsorship ( U.K), rising to the position of Itinerary Gospel Minister.
4. As Itinerary Gospel Minister he travels through East Africa, Southern Sudan, Eastern Congo and Overseas as Bible Teacher, Evangelist and Youth worker.
Philosophy of Ministry:
1. Youth leader`s
training on effective Youth Ministry in the Church.
2. Outreaches to Schools, Colleges,
Institutions, Special Ministry Weeks for Youth Conferences, Conventions,
Camps, Retreats.
3. Gospel Campaigns through Crusades and
special Church Ministry Weeks on programmes that specially
deal with :-
- Helping the Church
growth and Development.
- Effective Youth Ministry.
- Discipleship and Leadership Training.
- Pioneer Ministries - Missions/Church Planting.
Focus:
We are currently involved in Juba and Torit ( Southern Sudan) and Bunya (Eastern Congo) with hope to reach out to surrounding Countries in the North and North East Africa with the vision to reach middle East with the love of Jesus.
We also look forward to establish FM. Radio and T.V. satellite station in Lira ( Northern Uganda ) for effective and wider home based community outreach. We have already registered it as Christian Communication Centre, a business Organization/NGO which will operate the F.M Radio/TV Ministry in the Names "LIFE OF VICTORY FM RADIO/TV " for which frequency allocation is due by Uganda Communications Commission.

Christian Communication Centre plans to
launch Media(Broadcasting) to form Gospel Communication and
Recording Network based in Lira(Regional Town in the North). We
are prayerfully looking forward to purchase FM Radio and TV
Recording Studio to forge opportunity to share the Gospel and to
make a difference in society because Secular Media (Broadcasting
Industry) dictates imoral message to our Community.

We shall be most grateful for any support received to help us pursue our goal of purchasing a Christian Broadcasting/Recording Studio Network in Northern Uganda. After the broadcasting and recording facilities are purchased we plan to provide services for Christian Ministries, Educational and Health shows, Family values programmes and Live recording (audio/video).
